Used for quick and easy measurements of the plasticity of mixtures, especially concrete, and so to rapidly detect any excess of water. The measuring system is related to the shear strength applied by a three blade head to the mixture under test. The measured values obtained can easily be compared and related to the results of the Abrams slump test.
